Richard Fields gives to the New York Police Foundation
For several years, Richard Fields has contributed to non-profit groups and causes. Richard created the Fields Family Foundation; a non-profit organization contributing to local and national groups.
The Fields Family Foundation has long supported the New York Police Foundation; a non-profit group created in 1971 to help provide the New York Police Department with resources, technology, training techniques and strategies. The NYPF is the only group authorized by the NYPD to raise funds on its behalf. Since its beginning in 1971, the NYPF has raised over $60 million for the NYPD.
Richard Fields Philanthropy
Through the Fields Family Foundation, Richard Fields has achieved the NYPF’s highest status of donor: Four Star. Thanks to donors like Richard Fields and other generous New Yorkers, the NYPF is able to help the NYPD perform at its highest level.
Richard Fields’ outside interests
Richard Fields owns Jackson Land and Cattle (JLC) in Wyoming. The ranching company is based in Jackson and supports the ranching and quarter horse industry in the area. Additionally, JLC contributes to several local groups that encourage young men and women to engage in equestrian activities.
Richard Fields also supports the American Quarter Horse Foundation (AQHA). The AQHA is an advocate for the well-being of quarter horses across America. Through education, promotion, research and services, the AQHA is able to ensure the integrity of quarter horses.
