Richard Fields is a businessman in the entertainment industry.

Richard Fields is Chairman of Coastal Development, LLC a company that finances and develops resort properties, entertainment venues, and casino gaming facilities. Seminole Hard Rock Casina and HotelThrough Coastal Development LLC, Fields co-developed the Seminole Hard Rock Casino and Hotel in Tampa and Hollywood, Florida. The casino resorts are among the most successful in North America. In 2008, Richard Fields managed a deal for Coastal Marina, an affiliate of Coastal Development LLC, to acquire Donald Trump’s Trump Marina Hotel Casino from Trump Entertainment Resorts.

Richard Fields is the largest shareholder of Suffolk Downs, a thoroughbred racetrack in Massachusetts. Suffolk DownsRichard Fields became the largest shareholder of Suffolk Downs in 2007, when the track was struggling and the MassCap hadn’t been held in several years. Richard Fields bought Suffolk Downs out of a love for thoroughbred racing and hopes to expand the property into a casino resort and entertainment destination.

Richard Fields gives back to the community through the Fields Family Foundation. Richard Fields contributes to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, the New York Police Department, Farm Aid, Good Shepherd Services, the University of Rochester Medical Center, and the American Quarter Horse Foundation.

Richard Fields is also the owner of Jackson Ranch Land of Cattle.
